Children Learning about One Another through Art and Global Citizenship

​​History

Year One (2011) - Intercultural exchange between the Ethical Culture Fieldston School (ECFS)and UBINIG Tangail Nayakrishi Andolan Center.  Art gifts exchanged.

Year Two (2012) - Intercultural exchange between the ECFS and UBINIG Tangail.  Art gifts exchanged.

Year Three (2013) - Intercultural exchange between the ECFS and UBINIG Tangail.  ECFS incorporates Bangladesh arts lesson into curriculum.  UBINIG Ishwardi Nayakrishi Andolan Center partnership established.

Year Four (2014) - Intercultural exchange between the ECFS and UBINIG Tangail.  Art gifts exchanged.  Organized art workshops at UBINIG Ishwardi and Tangail.  Mohammadi Group Sharaf's Pathshala and Goddard School (Vernon Hills) partnership formed.

MISSION

Creating opportunities for global understanding through art between schools in the United States and abroad.  The children create and share art as a way to get to know one another and their cultures with the intention of finding commonalities and acknowledging the strength in their differences.
