Children Learning about One Another through Art and Global Citizenship

TANGAIL, BANGLADESH

Through a partnership with UBINIG's Nayakrishi Andolan Tangail Center, Art in a Suitcase has provided art classes and supplies, and will hire an artist educator for the 50 children of fisherman and farmers.  The Center has partnered with an American school, Ethical Culture Fieldston, and has shared art to promote greater cultural understanding.​

ISHWARDI, BANGLADESH

Through a partnership with UBINIG's Nayakrishi Andolan Ishwardi Center, Art in a Suitcase has provided art classes and supplies, and will hire an artist educator for 50 children of farmers and weavers.  We are currently researching an American school with whom to partner this Center.

DHAKA, BANGLADESH

Through a partnership with the Mohammadi Group's Sharaf Pathshala, Art in a Suitcase provides art classes, art supplies, and an artist educator for 100 children of garment factory workers in the Khilkhet section of Dhaka.  The school has partnered with an American school, the Goddard School, and has shared art to promote greater cultural understanding.
